Thomas Pinto

Vice President

Thomas Pinto is Vice President of Mount & Nadler. He is a seasoned communications professional with 30+ years of experience in the financial services industry. From story development and placement, to communications counsel to senior executives, his background encompasses a broad range of public relations skills and spans print, broadcast, and online media. His product knowledge includes mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and college savings plans, and covers the direct and financial advisor sales channels. He also has extensive experience with corporate governance issues, including board composition, executive compensation, and anti-takeover measures.

Before joining Mount & Nadler in 2004, Tom was Second Vice President of Media Relations for TIAA-CREF, the national financial services organization. Prior to that, Tom was with G.S. Schwartz Public Relations Agency as a Senior Account Executive, 1989-1990, and Monarch Resources Life Insurance, 1986-1989, where he served as Manager of Corporate Communications.

Tom holds a NASD Series 6 license. Past professional affiliations include:  Chairman, Public Relations Council Steering Committee, Mutual Fund Education Alliance, 2003; and Public Information Committee, Investment Company Institute, 2001-2003.

He has a MS degree from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication, and a BS degree in Communication from the State University of New York at Albany.
